LANCASTER COUNTY, SC (WBTV) -

A woman is wanted in connection with two robberies that occurred in Lancaster Wednesday morning.

According to the Lancaster Police Department, a woman snatched money from the Crenco on the Bypass on Highway 9 Bypass West. She also reportedly stole lottery tickets, officers say.

The woman told the clerk that her husband was outside and had a gun, police say.

Nearly an hour later, the same woman allegedly walked into the Citgo convenience store on North Main Street armed with a knife. The woman reportedly waked behind the counter when the clerk immediately stopped her, officers say. That's when she ran out of the store.

Police say the woman was wearing a gray pullover jacket, black ball cap and black shorts during the incidents. She was wearing flip flops during the first robbery and was barefoot during the second robbery attempted, police say.

The woman may have a possible tattoo on her right foot, according to police.

If you know the woman's identity or have any information, you're asked to call the Lancaster Police Department at 803-283-3313.
