- Short Break From Intense Heat
- Few Shower & Storms Tuesday
- Scorching Heat Soon Returns
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Now that Monday's stormy front has moved through, things will calm down a tad for Tuesday. There'll be plenty of clouds around on Tuesday and we'll still have scattered showers and even a few afternoon thunderstorms, but also noticeably cooler temperatures as well.
Highs will only top out in the mid to upper 80s, which makes Tuesday the first day in nearly two weeks when we won't reach at least 90 degrees in Charlotte.
We'll remain unsettled through Wednesday, even as afternoon temperatures already begin to climb back to near 90 degrees.
The rest of the week and the weekend look very hot and humid. Highs will jump back into the mid and perhaps even upper 90s with only about a 20 percent chance for rain each day.
Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
