The Carolina Panthers will now have 4 players in the upcoming Pro Bowl game as linebacker Thomas Davis was added to the roster on Monday.  He replaces injured linebacker Anthony Barr of the Minnesota Vikings.

This is Davis' 3rd straight season in the Pro Bowl.

This past season, Davis recorded 88 tackles and 2.5 sacks.  He also had 8 QB pressures and a fumble recovery.

The 13 year veteran is the Panthers all time leader in tackles with 1,174.  When the Panthers took on the Saints in the NFC Wildcard game earlier this month, Davis became the franchise's leader in playoff games played with 11.

Davis will join fellow linebacker Luke Kuechly, kicker Graham Gano, and guard Trai Turner in Orlando for the Pro Bowl on January 28th.
