- Warming Trend Underway
- Wet End To Workweek
- Winter Not Over Just Yet
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Tuesday morning is starting out much milder, daybreak readings for most neighborhoods will be near the freezing mark (even in the mountains!). Under partly sunny skies, highs Tuesday afternoon will pop up into the mid 50s, by far the warmest day so far this new year! Wednesday will be a bit cooler and mainly cloudy. Highs will be near 50 degrees, close to average for early January.
Then the real warming trend begins. Thursday will take us into the upper 50s and then by Friday we'll jump into the mid 60s! There will be a better chance for rain by then, but we can certainly use it about now. The best chance over the two days will be the second half of Friday, into the evening.
The weekend looks a little cooler (but not too cold) with a drying trend underway.
Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
