Woman charged with murder in December stabbing death of Statesville man

IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

A Statesville woman charged in the stabbing death of a man from early December turned herself in to authorities on Monday.

Roshedia Keisan Bruner, 34, is charged with murder in the death of 44-year-old Harry Max McLaughlin. 

The incident happened on Saturday, Dec. 9, on the 1500 block of Wilson Lee Boulevard. Police say McLaughlin was stabbed several times in the leg. He was taken to Iredell Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Warrants were then obtained for Bruner on the murder charged. She turned herself in on Monday and was jailed without bond.

Bruner is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
