SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - A woman who was hired to clean the house of a 69-year-old man is accused of stealing from him.
Linaill Rodney, 52, began working for the alleged victim during the summer. The victim and other family members said that after about three months, they noticed things were missing from the home.
The Rowan Sheriff's Office began an investigation in early December that resulted in a long list of charges against Rodney.

Rodney is accused of spending $86.53 to pay a bill with an insurance company, $38.58 to pay a cell phone bill, $101.50 to pay a Duke Energy bill, $152.90 for car insurance through Geico, and $55.63 for auto parts from an O'Reilly store.
Rodney is also accused of stealing a gold necklace with a gold panda coin pendant and selling it at a local pawn shop.
Charges against Rodney include misdemeanor larceny, six counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, and identity theft. Rodney was jailed under $22,500 bond.
