'Person of interest' identified in Rock Hill shooting

ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A 28-year-old was injured after being shot in Rock Hill Monday morning.

According to Rock Hill police, the shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of East White Street. Officers say a friend reportedly drove the victim to Piedmont Medical Center following the shooting. The victim had a minor injury, police say.

Officers say a person of interest has been identified but it is unclear whether any arrests have been made.

Police did not say whether the victim and the alleged shooter knew each other.
