CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV ) - A water main break that left several Caldwell County residents without water for a time Friday has been repaired.
Caldwell County officials say the break happened in the 2600 block of Collettsville Road.
"Customers on the Collettsville Road and Abington Road as well as all side roads will be without water until the break is fixed," county officials said.
The 12-inch water line is believed to have burst because of cold temperatures.
The Division of Water Resources advises consumers to boil all water used for human consumption (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water.
County Water Crews will continue testing the water in the area.
