Five injured after two-car crash involving CFD vehicle in uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Five people were injured after a two-car crash involving a Charlotte Fire Department vehicle slowed traffic in uptown Charlotte Thursday afternoon.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the incident happened in the 500 block of Dalton Avenue.

One of the people injured was a fire inspector.

All people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There's no word of arrests or what caused the crash.

No further information has been released.
