IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A woman accused of threatening to kill, biting and kicking deputies is facing charges.
Deputies say they were called to a home on Picwyck Drive in Mooresville in reference to loud arguing. Officials say that's when Karma Ramerez emerged from the home and started yelling and cursing at deputies.
"She told them to get off her property because she did not call them, she then threatened to kill them," deputies say.
After being placed in the patrol car, Ramerez started kicking, reportedly breaking an in-car camera. Deputies say she became aggressive at the Magistrate's Office and kicked one of the deputies in the leg and bit another.
Ramerez was charged with two counts of assault on a public officer, resist, obstruct and delay of a public officer, communicating threats and damage to property.
She was placed under a $15,500 secured bond.
