IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

A woman accused of shooting at her husband Saturday night before entering a stand-off with police has been charged.

Deputies say they responded to a home on Strawberry Hill Lane in Cleveland after a man called and said his wife, 56-year-old Patricia Good Sauve, was shooting a gun at him. It happened around 9:30 p.m.

Deputies say they found the husband hiding outside as they surrounded the home and attempted to talk to Suave. Sauve surrendered after two hours, deputies say.

Sauve was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.

She is being held at the Iredell County Detention Center without bond.
