UNION COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A three-vehicle wreck shut down a portion of a highway in Union County for some time Monday morning.
According to the Union County Sheriff's Department, Highway 74 westbound near the Pilgrim's Pride Corporation on West Marshville Boulevard in Marshville was closed due a wreck involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger vehicle.
Hazmat crews were on scene cleaning up acid and fuel leaks, according to Marshville police. Both of the leaks have been contained, police say.
Police say no one was injured in the incident. It is unclear what caused the wreck.
