WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Technology developed by a non-profit in Wilmington is helping victims of Hurricane Maria.

The Full Belly Project partnered up with Air Mobile Ministries to provide aid and disaster relief to Puerto Rico and Dominica.

The Full Belly’s pumps will be used to help pump water for Air Mobile Ministries water purification systems.

Jock Brandis, the founder of Full Belly, joined us on WECT News First at Four Thursday to show us how the pump works.
