ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A man was hospitalized after being stabbed in Rock Hill early Friday morning.
Officers who arrived on the scene say they saw a black male "staggering down the street covered in blood." Police say that he has several stab wounds
Rock Hill police say the man was stabbed in the roadway around 12 a.m. on the 300 block of Chestnut Street. He was sent to Piedmont Medical Center and is expected to recover.
According to police, witnesses on the scene heard yelling prior to the stabbing. One witness said they heard another man yelling at the victim that he was there to "kill someone."
Police say they do not have any suspects right now but they plan to interview the victim Friday to get more information on what led to the stabbing.
