STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) -

Police in several cities, including Kannapolis and Charlotte, are looking for three men accused in a string of pharmacy break-ins.

Police in Statesville say there have been two incidents, including one at Southside Drug, 430 Western Avenue, that occurred on August 18.

A Statesville police officer responding to domestic violence call turned on to Western Ave. and saw three men run out the front door of the business.

All three ran around the back carrying a trash can and duffel bag.

The trash can and duffle bag were found discarded nearby and some medications that the suspects had stolen were recovered.

The suspects cut the alarm, phone, and cable lines in back and then used a yellow pry bar to force open front door.

All three suspects were wearing all black.

Statesville police investigators are working in conjunction with other agencies to determine if the crimes are connected.

If anyone has information about this case, please contact Statesville Police or Iredell Crimestoppers at 704-662-1340.  Callers can remain anonymous and a cash reward is possible.
