Second teen wanted for murder in fatal Salisbury shooting

ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

Police in Salisbury are looking for a second teen wanted in connection to a weekend homicide.

Xavier Dionne Lowe, 17, is wanted for murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling in the death of 24-year-old Kornell Marquis Cook.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex on Williams Road, between Standish Street and Old Plank Road around 8:35 p.m.

When officers arrived they found Cook deceased at the back door of one of the apartments. Police on scene said that Cook had been shot multiple times.

Elija-wn Unique Oglesby, 18, was wanted for murder in this shooting, officers said. He turned himself in at the Salisbury Police Department Monday night and was charged with murder and discharging a firearm into occupied property.

Oglesby was then taken to the Rowan County Detention Center under no bond. He is due in court on Thursday, August 31.
