BURKE COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A man and a teen in Burke County are accused of breaking into a home in Morganton home in January.

According to the Burke County Sheriff's Office, Dekota Ryan Pettry, 17, and Stephen Tyler Bolick, 23, allegedly broke into a home on Highway 64 on January 24. The pair stole money and a gun from the home, deputies said.

Deputies said the firearm was found.

Bolick was arrested Tuesday and Pettry was arrested Thursday. Both men were charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possessing a stolen firearm.

Pettry was given a $10,000 secured bond and had his court appearance Friday, deputies say. Bolick was expected to appear in court Wednesday.
