MASSACHUSETTS (WBTV) - The winning Powerball jackpot ticket was sold in Chicopee, Massachusetts and not in Watertown, Massachusetts, as previously mentioned.
The Massachusetts State Lottery tweeted the correction Thursday morning.
"The jackpot winning ticket in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing was sold at the Pride Station & Store location at 27 Montgomery St. in Chicopee, Massachusetts," Mass. State Lottery tweeted.
It was previously stated that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Handy Variety at 95 Common Street in Watertown and that a $1 million prize winning ticket was sold at the Pride Station.
Sandy's Variety on Washington Street in Dorchester also sold a $1 million prize winning ticket, Mass. State Lottery says.
The jackpot was $758.7 million.
