CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A son who was shot along with his father during a reported robbery in southeast Charlotte Monday morning died at the hospital Wednesday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they were called to a robbery and assault with a deadly weapon around 3:15 a.m. Monday in the 6500 block of Outer Bridge Lane. When officers arrived, they found the two men who had been shot.
One of the victims told police that someone entered their home and attacked them.
Both men were taken to Carolinas Medical Center. Police said on Wednesday that 25-year-old Joshua Schulman had died from his injuries.
The father, who is 70 years old, suffered minor injuries.
Detectives were working to collect evidence and find possible witnesses but had not named a suspect as of Wednesday night.
