SC photographer captures invaluable backdrop in wedding photos

South Carolina (WBTV) -

Photos taken Monday at one couple's wedding captured more than just happy newlyweds.

Lexi and Terran got married in Charleston, South Carolina Monday as the sun was eclipsed by the moon.

While the total eclipse lasted just moments, Nicholas of Nicholas Gore Weddings was able to seize a glimpse of the incredible scene.

"This was absolutely insane!," Nicholas posted on Facebook. "Not only was this one of the best weddings I've ever photographed at one of the most beautiful new venues I've seen, but it all happened with a backdrop of the most amazing natural phenomenon I've ever seen!"

Nicholas expects to post more photos soon. More of his work can be found on his Instagram page.

The moon blocked a portion of the sun Monday for nearly four hours across parts of the U.S., starting in Oregon at 12:05 p.m. ET and ending on the Carolina coast at 4:09 p.m.

This week’s Forever Family Angel who is hoping a family will come along and adopt her is Nasharra!  Every child I meet is unique and Nasharra is special. This young lady struck me as someone who is focused on the things that are important to her advancement.
