Three men were arrested in connection with an undercover drug raid in Catawba County Tuesday.

According to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office, they found 50 grams of cocaine, a gun and $2,400 in cash from a home in the 2700 block of Sherlock Street in Claremont.

Deputies said they seized over five pounds of crack cocaine from the same home less than 12 months prior. "Investigators have been conducting surveillance over a 2-year time period on this residence," deputies said.

Ryan "Rylo" Eugene Farley and Tevin "Da-Da" Donzell Wilfong were both arrested after they tried to flee from the home and attempted to lead deputies on a foot chase.

Farley and Wilfong were both charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine by possession, two counts of conspiring to traffic cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling and delivery of schedule II crack cocaine and possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.

Deputies say Farley and Wilfong were both given a $200,000 secured bond and were expected to have their first court appearance Wednesday.

The sheriff's office said David Sheldon Petty was also arrested in connection to this drug raid. Petty was wanted on outstanding warrants from a search warrant that occurred in the 4300 block of Morning Drive. Over 100 grams of cocaine, 690 grams on marijuana and $9,870 in cash were found during the search, according to deputies.

Petty was given a $100,000 secured bond and is expected to have his first appearance Wednesday, deputies say.

The sheriff's office released this statement Wednesday:

"Our drug investigators have remained relentless in their pursuit of shutting down this residence and the individuals associated with the distribution of crack cocaine in the Claremont area. The Drug Task Force is using all means available from the local, state and federal levels to apprehend all individuals who continue to distribute crack cocaine from this residence. We greatly appreciate the assistance of the National Guard in last night's raid which was a vital part of our success."
