An Amber Alert has been issued for an 8-year-old girl believed to have been abducted in North Carolina by a man who shares her last name.

The Amber Alert didn’t say whether they’re related. The girl, Trinity Lakin McGraw, has long hair and brown eyes. She’s about four feet tall and was last seen wearing a nightgown with a watermelon design, the alert said.

The man suspected of abducting her is named Patrick Ryan McGraw, the alert said. He’s six feet tall, blue-eyed and bald, and he was last seen in a white T-shirt, the alert said.

The alert said they’re traveling in a gray sedan and were last seen heading north in Westfield, N.C., which is in Stokes County and less than 10 miles from the Virginia border. The sedan has a Georgia license plate with the number RDG-2198.
