CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A man wanted for multiple crimes in Charlotte cut off his electronic monitoring device Friday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say 41-year-old Stephen Wayne Wilburn is wanted for four counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, larceny after break-in, possession of stolen property, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Wilburn, who was court-ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as part of his pre-trial release, cut the device off Thursday, police say.
Wilburn is described as being around 5'11" and 180 pounds. He was last seen in the area of Leland Street.
