(WBTV) - I want you to meet Robert, a young man who is smart and athletic. When I spent time with him, he told me he aspires to be an architect, but first we need to help him build the most important foundation of his life: his new Forever Family.
"I will go outside, and we dance, or we play football. I play defensive end," 13-year-old Robert told me. "I've got a Giants jersey too and a Seattle Sea Hawks jersey."
Robert plays different sports and hopes to one day be drafted into the National Football League (NFL). But sports are not his only talent.
"I am a good artist. I want to go to college," he said. "I draw houses. I want to be an architect when I grow older."
Child advocate Chandra Mckoy says Robert is a smart child and always helpful.
"He is a very sweet child, very sweet, very respectful too," Mckoy said.
Robert would love to be part of a big family that likes to travel and one day dreams of going to Paris.
"[I want] a brother and a dog. Parents that you go to, somewhere to stay," he said. "You stay with them for a long time and then you come back and visit them when you go to college. And that is your forever family!"
I got to spend even more time with Robert after our shoot, we were laughing so much! He really would be a great addition to a family.
