LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

An Iredell County man who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants in several counties was arrested Thursday afternoon after he barricaded himself inside a building in Lincoln County.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Marcus Holloway was fleeing from U.S. Marshals on Highway 150 West and Old Lincolnton Crouse Road. Holloway then ran off of the road and crashed into the porch of a building in the 2000 block of West Highway 150 in Crouse.

Deputies say Holloway ran into the basement and then barricaded himself in the building. A woman, who was identified as 32-year-old Hannah Elizabeth Hawkins, was with Holloway during the chase, but surrendered to officers, according to the sheriff's office.

Holloway was wanted in Denver for allegedly stealing lottery tickets from two east Lincoln County convenience stores.
