Man shot, injured after fight in South End

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A man was injured in a shooting in South End early Thursday morning. 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the man was shot in the arm around 2:45 a.m. after getting in a fight in the 1400 block of S. Tryon Street, near Tavern on the Tracks and The Gin Mill.

The man then drove to the 100 block of Carson Boulevard, near the Midnight Diner, where he crashed. Police responded and Medic took the man to the hospital. He's expected to be OK.

Images from the scene show the windows shot out of the car the victim was in. 

So far, no arrests have been made. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
