CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A Charlotte man who was on probation was charged Thursday for reportedly having six guns at his home.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, six guns and ammunition were found at 20-year-old Curtis Robinson's home during a probation visit. After checking the serial numbers on the firearms, officers determined five were stolen.
Investigators say one gun was stolen from a vehicle on Reddman Road, three were stolen during a home break-in on Cedarwood Lane, and one pistol was stolen during a break-in at Aim & Defend in Gastonia.
Detectives are working to determine is similar cases are related.
Robinson was charged with five counts of possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
