CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot during an argument in north Charlotte Wednesday evening.
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on the 4000 block of Double Creek Crossing Drive, which is off of W. Sugar Creek Road.
Police say a man and his sister were arguing with is ex-girlfriend when three other people got involved. One of those three people, an adult male, shot the man in the arm.
The victim was driven in a personal vehicle to Carolinas Medical Center. He is expected to be OK.
Officials say the apartment of one of the people involved was shot into during the incident as well. The four people inside the apartment were not injured.
No names have been released, and police say no one has been arrested.
