Man found shot to death in yard of Salisbury apartment

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

A 21-year-old Salisbury man has died after he was reportedly shot Monday morning.

According to Salisbury Police, officers were called out to the 200-block of Link Ave. in reference to an unconscious man in the yard. When officers arrived, they found the body of Shawn Alexander Spry, 21, with a gunshot wound.

Police say Spry did not live on Link Ave, but no other information was provided.

Salisbury Police Detectives are actively working this homicide case. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Detectives assisted in processing the scene.
