CMPD speaks on local impact of Ford Interceptor issues

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spoke on the issues of police Ford Interceptor vehicles Monday afternoon. 

Officers answered questions regarding the impact the Ford police vehicles have in Mecklenburg County. 

Nearly 150 Ford Explorers driven by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers have the potential to leak carbon monoxide into the passenger compartment.

CMPD spoke at 1:30 p.m. at CMPD headquarters, in the 600 block of E. Trade Street.
