ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

Police are looking for a man who threw a cinder block into the door of a Rock Hill business and ran away with the cash register.

According to a Rock Hill Police report, officers responded to the Party Shop on the 1300 block of Cherry Road at about 3:20 a.m. Friday.

They say the front door to the business was shattered by a large cinder block. Officers reviewed the video surveillance and saw a man about 6 feet tall wearing a dark hoodie, a hat, gloves, and a mask to cover his face.

They say he walked across the street from Carolina Title Loans with a cinder block in his hand. He threw the brick into the door and knocked down the computer and other merchandise when he got inside.

The man got away with one cash register that had about $200 in it. They believe he damaged about $5,000 of computer and register equipment.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
