Hands of a Sportsman (HOAS), a North Carolina-based non-profit organization, is hosting its second annual concert and fundraiser on Friday, July 28 at the Charles Mack Center in Mooresville.

The event, which will be from 6-10 p.m., will feature a FREE concert by Darrell Harwood. Additionally, barbecue chicken plates can be purchased for $10 with all proceeds benefiting the organization. Meals will be served from 6-8 p.m. with the concert slated to start at 8 p.m. sharp.

“Our event last year exceeded our expectations with the level of support from fellow sportsmen,” HOAS president David Hinceman said. “Darrell Harwood is one of the best entertainers in our area and has agreed to partner with us again to have another evening filled with fun, but also an event with a bigger purpose for all of the people we want to reach through Hands of a Sportsman.”

Games and raffles will be available onsite and a beer and wine cash bar also will be available.

With a mission of partnering with the outdoors to put smiles on the faces of those taking on some of life's toughest challenges, HOAS conducts a series of events throughout the year.

The Charles Mack Center is located at 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville. To purchase meal tickets or to learn more about Hands of a Sportsman, visit www.HandsOfASportsman.org
