Man injured in shooting outside southeast Charlotte restaurant

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A man was injured in a shooting outside a southeast Charlotte restaurant early Monday morning. 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the 911 call came in around 2:21 a.m. about a shooting in the parking lot of the South 21, located in the 3100 block of E. Independence Boulevard. 

A man showed up to Carolinas Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. He told police he was hanging out in the parking lot when he heard gunshots and realized he had been hit. 

The man suffered minor injuries. 

No possible motives have been released.
