CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Little kids and older people - those are two group where you can pretty much bank on getting an honest opinion.
Wednesday morning, we went to the Betty Rae Thomas Recreation Center in West Charlotte seeking honest opinions on the "3-Second-Brow" eyebrow stamp.
"They're too thick," one woman said.
"They look like when a man wears a toupee, they're too thick," said another.
To be honest, it wasn't the first time we've taken these same brows to the same center and asked for opinions. The last time we did it, the thoughts were similar on my "way-too-thickly-applied" monsters.
But the ladies discovered that when applied correctly, they actually looked pretty nice. So then they all wanted their own set, but we only had one to give away.
We reached out to the company that makes the "3-Second-Brow" stamp and asked if they'd be interested in helping out. They sent about a dozen kits and we took them straight over to give them away.
The fun that ensued was well worth sporting caterpillars above my eyes for about an hour. The laughs still have my belly in stitches.
One thing is for sure, with the status of "senior citizen" comes the right to say what you please. And we loved every minute of it.
