IREDELL COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

A reported fugitive from South Carolina was found in Iredell County Tuesday in connection with breaking into an outbuilding.

According to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, 40-year-old Joshua Windfield Drummond was reportedly caught on security camera breaking into an outbuilding of a home in the 100 block of Bunny Lane in Harmony. Deputies said Drummond was removing items from the outbuilding on the property.

The stolen items were later found in the bushes in front of Drummond's home, according to deputies. The sheriff's office said more items were found in Drummond's home after deputies used a search warrant to gain access inside his residence.

Drummond initially gave deputies a fake name, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies say Drummond was wanted in South Carolina for attempted homicide. According to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, Drummond "has an extensive history of attempted robbery, armed robbery, and other violent crimes."

He is facing charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and giving fictitious information to an officer. Drummond was also charged on a fugitive warrant.

Drummond was placed in jail under a $750,000 secured bond and a $10,000 secured bond.
