Wreck Along I-85 In Gaston County

Joel Ford is expected to file to run for Charlotte mayor today.

A homicide investigation is underway after a 19-year-old was shot and killed in Statesville.

Troopers are investigating an incident that’s been seen thousands of times on Facebook. The video shows what looks like a trooper speeding down a local highway going the wrong way on highway 321 in Catawba County.

Two men involved in a street racing incident along highway 321 have reached out to WBTV.  You’ll hear what they have to say.  Mark Davenport will be LIVE with that story.

A search is underway right now for a woman police say robbed a Charlotte bank.  We’ll show you pictures of the robber.

A Gaston County Commissioner accused of sexual battery is now in custody.
