Planning a trip out of town and trying to figure out what to do about airport parking? It stresses some people out, but it’s actually easy with a little forethought and planning. Toyota of N Charlotte is here to share airport parking tips so you can keep your summer vacation stress-free. Let’s get started!
Let’s talk types of airport parking first. If you’re flying out of Charlotte, you’ll have three main types available to you – long term, daily, and valet. We’re breaking down each and the pros and cons associated with them.
Long term parking is the cheapest at just $7 a day, so if you’re on a budget or going to be traveling for an extended period of time, this is your best bet. However, you do have to take a shuttle to get to the terminal, as it’s too far of a walk to tackle (especially with luggage).
Daily parking is a bit closer to the main terminal so you can probably hoof it if you really want to, but our N Charlotte Toyota dealership recommends taking the available shuttle to make life a little bit easier. However, the daily lots are a little more expensive than the long term parking – these rates range from $8-10.
Valet parking is your third option and definitely the easiest. There’s business valet parking, which means you can have your car valeted but then you have to take a shuttle to the main terminal. There’s also curbside parking, which means you can simply drop your car off at the curb and pick it up when you get back. Business valet is $14 a day and curbside valet is $35 a day, and both offer options like car washes and state inspections.
