ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) -

A Rock Hill man who was last seen leaving his job Thursday, July 13, to deposit the store's daily cash at a bank has been located.

Rock Hill police said Tuesday that 21-year-old Brandon Johnson was found and is safe.

According to the Rock Hill Police Department, Johnson worked at the Papa John's in the 1300 block of Main Street East and did not return to the store after leaving to take the daily cash deposit to the bank. Police say Johnson is the store manager at the Papa John's.

The store's general manager told officers that Johnson arrived at the restaurant around 8:12 a.m. Thursday morning and left to head to the bank between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The general manager said Johnson did not return to the Papa John's Thursday afternoon, police said.

The general manager and other employees then began to try to call and make contact with Johnson but were unable to, according to police.

Officers said employees attempted to go to Johnson's residence.

Rock Hill police made contact with Johnson's mother who said her son left their home around 8:30 a.m. The general manager told officers the restaurant's doors were unlocked when Johnson had left.

If you have any additional information about this case, you're asked to call the Rock Hill Police Department (803) 329-7200.
