CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

The McFalls family is baffled, because they don't know where Michael Randy McFalls Sr. is.

"He loves his family. He loves his work. He’s crazy about his grand kids. Crazy about any kids actually. He loves kids," says his son, Randy McFalls Jr. "Good man. Do anything for his family, for his friends."

The 52-year-old, who goes by Randy, left work in the 3900 block of Stuart Andrews Boulevard in Charlotte Thursday afternoon around 4:30 p.m.

McFalls Sr.'s supervisor said he saw him leave work and said he was acting fine. The supervisor says McFalls Sr. then told him he was heading home for the day.

McFalls Sr.'s wife says her husband of 31 years texted her and said he was on his way home to Clover but planned to stop to get something to drink.

No one has seen or heard from McFalls Sr. since.

"This is very out of character for him. It makes us very worried that may be something is wrong or something has happened. Just wondering where he's at," says his son, McFalls Jr. "We don't know, we don't know what's going on, where he's at."

McFalls Sr.'s family says he always came straight home from work. Relatives say his iPhone, iPad and iWatch are somehow all turned off, which they say is uncommon for him.

"Devices are usually on," McFalls Jr. says. "It makes absolutely no sense for all of it to be shut off."

McFalls Jr. says his father drives a pearl white 4-door 2013 Chevy Silverado, which has a Clemson sticker on the lower right hand side of the tailgate.

McFalls Jr. says depending on traffic, his father would either drive Billy Graham Parkway or Wilkinson Boulevard to I-85 to Exit 8, which leads to Highway 161 in Clover.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say McFalls Sr.'s vehicle has a North Carolina plate with DZ-7187.

The younger McFalls says family members drove those routes looking for any signs of McFalls Sr., but didn't see anything.

The McFalls family said they have been in contact with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

CMPD describe McFalls Sr. as a white man, 6-feet tall and around 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair, police say. Though, family members say McFalls Sr. weighs 220 pounds and has green eyes.

Family members are asking for the public's help in keeping an eye out for him.

"The worst part is not knowing anything. I mean we'd just like to know something" says McFalls Jr.
