Police trying to ID suspect in south Charlotte armed robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Detectives in Charlotte are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed a local business Wednesday.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the armed robbery occurred at the SBL Skill Games in the 2700 block of South Tryon Street just before 2:30 p.m.

Images of the robber were captured on surveillance video.

He is described as a black male between 5'7" and 5'8" tall with a thin build and light chin hair. He was wearing a dark blue or black hat with a white circle-shaped marking on the front, glasses, a white t-shirt, jeans, and white shoes.
