Deputies: Woman arrested after calling 911 repeatedly asking for deputies to retrieve phone charger

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union County deputies said a woman was arrested after she called 911 more than a dozen times to ask deputies to pick up her cell phone charger.

Per incident reports, Brenda Fish Williford, 42, repeatedly called 911 on Saturday to request that a deputy be sent to her mother’s home in Union to retrieve the charger.

Dispatchers advised the woman not to call back unless she had an actual emergency but incident reports state she kept calling until a deputy responded and placed her under arrest for unlawful use of 911.
