CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

I'm under the firm belief when you're proud of someone, you tell them. Sometimes you even shout it out loud.

I am incredibly proud of WBTV reporter Sarah-Blake Morgan. A national magazine, National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), is featuring her in April's cover article about fearless female journalists.

Every night at 11 p.m., Sarah-Blake shoots her own video, does her own live shots, writes her own stories, edits it all together under deadline and still manages to get on TV and look good.

Her dream is to be a one-woman show reporting on the people and stories around the world like news stories in the Middle East and helping report on terrorism and the fight against ISIS.

But for now, we're lucky to have her in Charlotte.

To be clear, lots of reporters at WBTV and around the country do it all themselves. These one-person crews are called multi-media journalists, or MMJ's for short. It's a demanding and physical job.

Sarah-Blake calls herself an "MMJane." She even started a Facebook page where all women in the country doing this job can network and share tips on how to get it all done.

Thanks to NPPA for lifting up Sarah-Blake as one of the best in the country.
