South Carolina sophomore guard PJ Dozier has confirmed that he's decided to sign with an agent and stay in the 2017 NBA Draft, ending his time with the Gamecocks.
Yahoo's The Vertical was the first to report the news which ESPN later confirmed.
Dozier wrote in a post on Instagram "With the support of my family and Coaching Staff, I'm excited to continue to pursue my dreams and will be entering the 2017 NBA Draft and signing with an agent. I cannot express in words how much I appreciate everyone who has supported me thus far in my playing career."
The 6'6 Dozier, who started 36 of 37 games for USC last season, originally declared for the Draft last week but said he would not sign with an agent to keep his option of returning to school open. The Vertical reported some time over the weekend he changed his mind and decided to fully commit to the NBA.
Dozier was 2nd on the team in scoring last season at 13.9 points per game, was 3rd in rebounding and led the team in assists.
