If you had to choose, which would you say is more important for you: money or love?

Time Money teamed up with SurveyMonkey recently and asked people that question and the results were nearly split down the money. Slightly more than half of the respondents said they would choose $1 million per year for the rest of their lives over finding true love.

There were a few demographics who chose love over dollars, though.

For example, 53% of married respondents and 55% of those in domestic partnerships or civil unions said they preferred to keep things that way.

But in every other relationship scenario, money was the winner—especially among survey participants who were divorced and separated, as well as single women and men who were cohabiting with a partner.

Before you start throwing out the word "greedy," the survey revealed another interesting find: nearly 70 percent reported that they have some degree of anxiety about their financial futures.

In fact, nearly one-third of all people surveyed described themselves as “very” or “extremely” anxious.

So... when it comes to love or money - most Americans say they'll take the cash, please.?
