Recipe: La Pera cocktail


Russ Johnson, from Stagioni, creates seasonal cocktails for the restaurant using flavors from seasonal produce.

Tuesday on Morning Break, Russ showed us how to prepare "La Pera."


  • 1.5 oz. Rua Single Malt American Whisky (Great Wagon Road Distilling Co.)
  • 3/4 oz. Montenegro Amaro Liqueur
  • 2 oz. cold pressed pear
  • Dash of smoke & sea salt bitters


Shake all ingredients with ice and strain. Pour into glass and garnish with a cinnamon sugar rim and pear slice.
