Police trying to identify suspects in north Charlotte armed robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A business in north Charlotte was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for assistance to identify the suspects in the armed robbery of the Family Dollar on N. Tryon Street.

Only one of the suspects was caught on camera. He is described as a black male, 6'3", and was last seen wearing a plaid jacket, dark pants and black shoes.

The second suspect, who is not pictured, is described as a black male, approximately 5'0', and was last seen wearing a yellow jacket with black pants and a backpack.

Anyone with information concerning these cases or the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
