Police: Salisbury man points gun during road rage incident

CONCORD, NC (WBTV) -

A Salisbury man is accused of pointing a gun at another driver during a case of road rage Monday morning.

According to Concord Police, the incident happened Monday morning just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Concord Parkway South and Pitts School Road NW.

That's when police say 37-year-old Brent Jacob Mincey, of Salisbury, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the other driver.

The Charlotte Fire Department says the incident involved a member of their team, and that the case is currently under investigation. 

Mincey was arrested and charged with assault by pointing a handgun. 

He was placed in the Cabarrus County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond.
