CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Little change is in store with our dry weather pattern and persisting drought conditions as we head into the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The good news is that travel weather should be pretty quiet this week. There shouldn't be too many bumps in the road between now and Thanksgiving.
Of course, the bad news is we still have forest fires raging in the western part of the state. Rain is the only real remedy. The only chance will come on Wednesday night and Thursday morning - but it's a very remote chance. Sigh...
Beyond the holiday, the weekend looks quiet with highs in the lower 60s.
Next week shows our best rain potential in a while. It's a little early to get too excited but some models are bringing in a chance for rain Monday and Tuesday. We'll be watching for you!
