After highs failed to reach 70° Tuesday, we'll like bolt back to 80° today after dense morning fog burns off. The warm air remains through Thursday, and then the other shoe drops.
On Thursday evening, a cold front will move through and that will bring fall-like temperatures back into the picture. It will also be our only chance of rain this week.
Before you get your hopes up, there's only a 20% chance for rain Thursday evening into Friday morning.
After that, cooler and much drier air will return. Highs from Friday through the weekend will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s - pretty close to average for early November - and overnight lows will be chilly, down into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
