One of the most common things I hear again and again in regards to #TeamNOSugar is something to the effect of "I'm addicted." "I can't give it up" or "it taste so good."
Guess what, folks? If you will give your body half a chance, it WILL adjust. Especially your tastebuds! If you can go the 30 days - you will find that once you drink that soda or it something sweet, it may very well be TOO sweet. I remember my longtime makeup artist told me that she actually couldn't drink soda anymore after giving it up for a few months (and dropping at least 2 dress sizes in the process!)
Why? Because once your body get used to NOT having all the added sugar, fake sugar (for you diet soda lovers) and empty carbs - it will let you know right away when you try you it again. AND you may actually find yourself craving the good stuff like fruits and vegetables.
A radical concept, I know - but like I said - your tastebuds will adjust. All you have to do is give them the chance to do so!
